Short on Time? Play Nine | 9 Holes at Monarch Bay Marina Course

Monarch Bay is my home course, I pretty much get all my practice done here. With a toddler it's hard to get to the course as much as I would like. That's why playing 9 holes is a great alternative to 18 holes. This has to be one of the best municipal courses in the Bay Area. The course conditions are some of the best I've seen for a muni course.  I played at noon today and walked it for $14 which is pretty reasonable for the Bay Area. There was little back-up but the marshal let me start on hole #5. Marina 9 at Monarch Bay is also a great course for new golfers and kids. It's not just a par 3 course either there are several drivable par 4's. It's always pretty exciting when you hit the green on thoes par 4's. Today was great for me, no lost ball, great ball striking, birdies, and par's for me. If you are ever around the San Leandro area check out Monarch Bay.
